She rode a Conestoga wagon to Oklahoma. Raised her kids (your grandparents) through the hardships of the dust-bowl depression, burying her 2 youngest. She gave no quarter, she took no quarter.
She did Matriarch duty for your parents...dragged you to church; told you to finish high school; made you join the military for “character”. Now she’s gone.
You’re busy. But, you take the time.
There’s gonna be a visitation.
There’s gonna be a memorial.
There’s gonna be a funeral.
There’s gonna be a graveside.
You HAVE to do it. She was a tough old bird but everyone respected her.
