does anyone remember see through blouses in the seventies?
I was sent one by my grandmother back in 72. I ued to wear it around the house. One time I forgot I was wearing it and took my coat off at a small restaurant in Skowhegen Maine. I couldn’t figure out what was going on, and my then-husband was amused.
Funny, for your hubby at least. I don’t remember sheer blouses back then athough I have a pretty floral one now that came with a tank to wear under it.
I did once have a similar embarrassment though. I bought a pretty gold bikini from a body building magazine ad and wore it to our apartment pool (30 years ago). When I got out of the pool my husband quietly told me it became semi-sheer in water and I made a hasty retreat to the apartment. Now if a body builder gal sweats that bikini should be OK in water, so I had no clue that thing would not be OK for swimming. Luckily only a few at the pool that day.
