LOL! Cute! We harvested a big, fat Doe and three average Bucks from our farm this season. By the number of deer we saw all Spring and Summer, we thought the harvest would be much better!

They were BOLD this year, too! I had to chase them away from my apple trees, they destroyed some younger fruit trees that were quite near the house, and they were eyeing up my veggie garden, but I kept the dogs out there more often, so that solved THAT problem!

I’ll get busy and start some threads for ya...may as well take a look at what’s going on in my own state!

Nice, venison yum. We saw 2 bucks on 2 different days just browsing around our yard between the barn and the house, taking a good 20 minutes just nosing around. After gun season started. Very unusual. We don’t bait or hunt, I could have gotten both easily by just opening the slider in my nightgown, but gutting them - that’s a different story. One was a 6 point and one a 4 point.

I put some 4’ metal fence around the only fruit tree that still is living.

The deer are more than happy to groom the fence interface with the Erf, but leave the tree alone. [I only have to cut the “lawn” a few times/yr. - mostly to cut the weeds the deer don’t prefer to graze]

The other trees will soon be [a small amount of lumber.
