Acknowledging Sgt Pepper was a load of you know what.
They are jealous and resentful of the fact they have no music from their generation worth waxing nostalgic over.

Sirius/XM now has a station dedicated to The Beatles, they did a pretty decent job with it. I prefer early Beatles to the later Beatles. The early stuff had way more energy and passion.

They wrote songs. Well, Lennon wrote songs, McCartney wrote down some crap.
Dear Prudence and Revolution alone make the album a masterpiece.
