They chased away the gun owning market.
Maybe they can get the Subaru crowd to “share the love” with overpriced clothes.

“They chased away the gun owning market.”

Since the average modern sporting rifle runs $500 or more, they also ran off some of their highest profit sales, not to mention the follow on purchases of ammo, reloading supplies and equipment, hunting clothes and equipment, etc.

Then there’s a bit of history the fools forgot: the fate of Smith & Wesson when its British owners agreed to a Clintonoid settlement that would have led to massive back door gun control. S & W suffered a massive boycott that drove it into bankruptcy. May Dick’s suffer the same massively deserved fate.

I went in my local Dicks a few weeks ago just to take a peek. The “sporting goods” were all shoved towards the back and probably 50-60% of the store was clothing, shoes, etc. Most of the clothes for sale were for marketed towards jogging, running, etc. not hiking, camping, hunting, etc.

What the hell is wrong with my Subaru ?

Fine !

I'll go out and buy another gun ! Is that what it takes to make you happy ?

I'll add another 10,000 rounds of ammo too (just because I want to :) )
