In 1988 ... A man in a suit walked up to the lectern. He told us: Global warming is a new national problem. Human CO2 emissions cause dangerous global warming.

Only ten years prior to that the scientific community held the lockstep consensus that the Earth was cooling drastically and a new ice age was nearly upon us!

Even that article contains a false assumption, a premise, from which the rest of the article HAS to progress. It's giving the global-warming/climate-change phonies a basis for their existence.

The assumption or premise is that, the warming is "human-caused". From that point on, the junk science has been given a credible existence from which a lot more assumptions an junk science emanate.

Liberals like to create false premises, such as, voter ID laws/regulations harm minorities. From that point on, the other side is on the defensive.

Give an inch, and you're stuck trying to prevent them from taking a mile. Destroy the premise from the very start, and the problem is solved before it is given a false existence.
