Former Infowars editor and author Jerome Corsi has told CNN he will reject a plea deal that has been offered to him by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie, Corsi said in a phone call with CNN. When asked what would happen now that he is refusing the plea deal, Corsi responded: I dont know. According to The Atlantic staff writer, Natasha Bertrand, Corsi told her he would not accept Muellers plea deal on one count of perjury because it would require him to sign a statement saying he willfully lied, which he denies.
Muellers team questioned Corsi as part of their investigation into political advisor Roger Stones Wikileaks connections. The Special Counsel is trying to determine whether or not Stone had prior knowledge of the Wikileaks release of Clinton campaign documents in 2016an allegation Stone denies. Corsi announced November 13 that he was expecting to be indicted by Mueller. In a live stream, he said, I fully anticipate that in the next few days I will be indicted by Mueller for some form or other of giving false information to the special counsel or to one of the other grand jury or however they want to do the indictment. But Im going to be criminally charged. Corsi claimed he received a subpoena from two FBI agents in August and has since handed over two computers and access to his email and Twitter accounts. He said that he was interrogated by investigators and quizzed about various specific topics for months.
Indict him, put him on trial, and if found guilty send him to prison would be my guess.
Good one.
Agreed. I can't believe he (or anyone) would talk without consulting with an attorney. And no attorney is going to advise discussing with the talk being taped, attorney present, etc.
Yes.
And not to mention putting Spec Cons members UNDER OATH in a trial. Possibly setting themselves up for perjury traps and charges.
Preferably, on camera.
Thanks Jayster.
They probably will do a Gestapo type raid on his house to arrest him now - just to impress everyone that you don’t mess with crooked Uranium Bob.
Prayers up for Mr Corsi.
Might be hard to find a good attorney. They all seem to get raided by Murller’s elite FBI.
Mueller will just throw him in jail until his trial, which will never happen.
Does anyone really need anymore evidence that this is a witch hunt? And for what? For DARING to let the American people know that the Clinton campaign and the DNC fixed their own primary for her. That used to be called journalism in this country.
Rule 1: Never talk to the police.
Rule 2: Rule 1 goes double for the corrupt FBI.
So, Mueller and crew are suborning perjury in the effort fabricate evidence and submit false sworn statements.
In any just universe, the entire cabal would be placed under immediate arrest and held without bail.
“The poor man is 72 years old.”
He not only questioned the Deep State and their prince Obama, he exposed them all.
He also wrote an excellent book how the Deep State tried to destroy a US President and the Constitution.
Both he and Roger Stone have been high on the “let’s get them” list.
Mueller’s limping along on fumes.
Is Papa-D taking note of this?
They do not care how much out of context it might be.
They want to hurt President Trump, and how many innocents are damaged in the process is of no concern to these people.
I would bet anything that Trump doesn't do it.
Should have recorded his conversations with Mueller’s office; demanded to see the document authorizing Mueller to investigate him; start demanding very extensive discovery to include all emails; documents; etc.
Corsi could tie up Mueller for years without having to hire an attorney.
The mistake many of the targets made was to hire attorneys. Attorneys have no incentive to minimize billings; just the opposite, they want to maximize billings.
Flynn’s attorney could have had the case against him dropped within two months by filing a motion to suppress the indictment because there was no crime, and certainly not based on an alleged criminal statute that was over 100 years old that had never been prosecuted and is very arguably unconstitutional.
I have a file on me being investigated by the FBI.
Long story but I was not impressed by them at all and made it very clear to them that I thought they were idiots.
When I left, I flipped them off and told them to F$&k off.
One of the best days of my life.
Additionally, my phone was tapped and I would talk about the FBI while talking to friends.
One day I would love to see my file.
I’ve had Sheriff’s Deputies show up at my residence a many years ago just wanting to talk. I opened my door just a crack. They asked me to step outside. I asked why. They said for officer safety. I told them that if they felt unsafe, they should leave. They asked if they could come inside my home. That was not going to happen. I asked if they had an arrest warrant or search warrant; they didn’t. Told them to get off my property, NOW, or I’d call for a state trooper to remove and arrest them. They left.
occasionally a corrupt prosecutor encounters a person with enough integrity or guts to turn down “threats to force perjured testimony” deals
