If Alabama loses to Georgia that’s bad news for media loving Ohio State. Alabama will make the cut if they win or lose. No other team can say that and that includes overrated Clemson.

“LSU dropped 4 places after losing 74-72 to Texas A & M (ranked #22) but the Texas Aggies did not move up at all in the rankings.”
That was the game of the year. Seven overtimes

That game was ridiculous. (No, I don't mean that in a good way.) That wasn't football. Call it exhibit 1 for the case that the NFL overtime system is better.

College offenses are so far ahead of the defenses right now that it's hard to get a stop when they start on their own 25, and it's nearly impossible when they start on the opponent's 25.

Well, Lynn Swann has decided to keep Clay Helton for another season. Papadakis actually gave another sports host a half hour interview this morning about it. Very, very insightful. He was outstanding! There's so much wrong with the program that it is exhausting to enumerate. And whereas under Pete Carroll there'd be 90,000 in the Coliseum, today's team barely draws 60,000. And they boo Helton. He said that all the other coaches on the team would probably be fired.

So why keep Helton??? No logical explanation except many ensconced in the athletic program want to protect their own fiefdom.
