(Meredith) -- A woman who recently purchased a storage unit from "Storage Wars" Dan Dotson found $7.5 million in cash inside the unit.
According to the Desert Sun, the A&E reality "Storage Wars" star sold a unit to a woman for $500 in Southern California. A month later, a friend of the woman told Dotson at a charity event that her friend found the load of cash inside a safe in the unit.
Dotson said the attorney for the original owners of the unit found out their storage was sold and contacted the woman to negotiate a deal.

why would she negotiate to return money when the storage facility likely followed legal proceedure to notify owners and then sell the unit because either owners did not respond or responded they would not pay up late amount due?
I'm sure the buyer said to her friend, "Whatever you do, don't tell anyone!!" Great friend!
I wonder why Dotson didn't look inside first before he sold it.
How does the IRS handle something like this?
breaking bad
Possibly a viral marketing stunt for some that reality show featuring people buying storage lockers and finding five decades of grandmas old stuff.
Or just storage vendors doing this so more people will bid for disused lockers
ever hear of the mafia or the mex or colombian cartels.... silver or lead offers
Because they didn’t want to have an “accident” or just wake up dead.
It can’t be anything but drug money.
