When the left applies “diversity” to a barbershop quartet, it winds up looking like an international choir.
Diversity - for the sake of diversity - is wrong, and stupid.
Skin color and ethnicity do not give you and right to a piece of EVERYTHING on the planet.
When I think of extraordinarily talented female dancers, exactly THREE come to mind:
Ginger Rogers
Juliet Prowse
Julianne Hough
I guess I’m narrow minded.
I flipped back & forth & didn’t watch the entire parade.
Too much juvenile banter for me. However, I did watch the Rockettes. They are as great as ever. When I saw the 2 darker dancers out of 36 total, I just KNEW there was going to be a backlash.
Thank God there are still some places in the USA where merit counts.
Pushing merit aside will be the end of the USA, unless Patriots stop this nonsense.

I watched a bit of it over at my neighbors place. All the tunes sounded the same, from pop to country(not real country) and I’ve never seen so many dancers and marching bands so out of sync with each other. Never seen so many fat kids participating either.

Somehow, a bunch of Kardashian sized rumps dancing doesn’t seem entertaining.
Plus all the friction during high kicks may create flames.
Nothing else counts in selecting Rockettes except talent.

It would have looked better if all the Rockettes has worn the same color tights. Red or green for Christmas would have been a good choice.

These people, not the lower-mid working class WHITE folks, and not “people” have been complaining since at least 1987. At least 30 years.
It seems to be an obsession (your word) among liberals, minorities, blah blah blah. It has never been an obsession among or exclusive to lower-mid working class WHITE folks so you can take that agenda and shove it up your ass.
And the preceding statement you didn't quote pointed out exactly the fact that elites have been complaining about it for decades.
This comment was about the fact that this diversity obsession for the Rockettes was not shared by the majority of actual minority families who seem largely indifferent about how many eye-high kicks their kids can do.
