Bradford, a U.S. soldier may have been mistaken for the gunman because he was carrying a weapon, according to the Hoover Sun.

Oops.

It's bound to happen. As an increasing number of Americans legally carry firearms, it is going to become imperative to learn how to not get mistaken for the bad guy while trying to be a hero when the cops show up.

Don't know if this is the exact case here but witnesses attest that many citizens drew guns during this shooting.
