Count all of the democratic votes in all of the districts and compare to the republican votes in all of the districts.

It's still not winning the popular vote. Only in an electoral college situation is the popular vote not necessarily the determination of the winner. Since electoral college is only present in the Presidential election, claiming popular vote is nonsense because it takes the majority of votes to win anyway. In many cases they won by very small margins, and well after election day. In many of those states they do not have to present any form of ID. In some states they accepted votes with little regard to the legal status of the voter.

But the bottom line is it is plain ignorance to claim popular vote in any context to Congressional elections. In some states they may have captured a seat by a tremendous percentage, but that really proves nothing. Especially when they usually capture that seat, and usually by large percentages.

Thus my claim of fake news.
