These are the new rules for reporters during presidential press conferences:
(1) A journalist called upon to ask a question will ask a single question and then will yield the floor to other journalists;
(2) At the discretion of the President or other White House official taking questions, a follow-up question or questions may be permitted; and where a follow up has been allowed and asked, the questioner will then yield the floor;
(3) “Yielding the floor” includes, when applicable, physically surrendering the microphone to White House staff for use by the next questioner;
(4) Failure to abide by any of rules (1)-(3) may result in suspension or revocation of the journalist’s hard pass.

Have the reporters submit one question each, in advance, to Sarah Sanders.
Hold the press conference at 0300 hours, where a giant hologram of the President appears, and answers 25 of the questions submitted. End of conference.
It is a sad state of affairs when the President of the USA has to explain to ‘reporters’ who act like Pre-school toddlers what the rules are in the White House.
Some of these people make over $100,000 a year, and they act like they cannot pour water out of a boot with the directions written on the heel.
Anyone acting like they do would not be allowed on MY PROPERTY for over 4 seconds.

Hahaha. The “press” should give thanks today that they aren’t tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.
He should only ask questions from reporters wearing unisex uniforms like the Chinese Communists. That would better illustrate the political position of the press.
The rules don't seem to be about the content of the questions, but about the ability of the reporters to bicker over answers they don't like.
Did anyone here notice that, earlier this week, when Trump shushed them down with his hand gestures, they complied immediately? It was like watching a conductor expertly quiet the noisey children.
Proof positive that our society is crumbling. One has to define decorum within the most secure location in the world.
