This is likely Cártel de Tijuana. They don't "yell, cuss each other out, throw things and have fist fights". They will kill anyone who interferes with their traffic. They have no problem beheading politicians, police and federales. Right now, these "migrants" are causing unwanted attention that is interfering in their "commerce". Unless the migrant leaders have enough cash to compensate them for their interference, there is going to be a problem. You would expect the organizers of this caravan would have been smart enough to pay the appropriate fees.

Not only that but the rumor is the women who tried to feed the caravan when the first bunch arrived had food thrown back in their faces and told it was not good enough. As the rumor goes those women do quite a lot of charity work and are mostly married to cartel men. So along with annoying the cartel bosses, interfering in their business, they also insulted their wives. Not a good way to begin an extended stay in Mexico.
Mexican ‘’commerce’’ consists of taking $28 billion dollars a year out of this economy. Without that Mexico’s economy would collapse. Certainly in the last thirty years previous American presidents have been warned that stopping this transfer of capital and closing the border would result in a socioeconomic collapse in Mexico that would send a tsunami of Mexicans across the border. Short of invading Mexico, which would be equally catastrophic there is nothing we can do, short of simply annexing Mexico, which would still result in every Mexican pouring out of the place. Mexico is like the horrible relative you’re stuck with.
