I had such high hopes for this series, because I am intensely interested in space exploration and the possible man landing on Mars.
Add to that, it's directed by Ron Howard, so I had every expectation of a quality production.
Instead of an intriguing documentary on what could occur with a man landing on Mars, we get a sermon on corporate exploitation of the earth and, eventually, another freaking planet!
Including fawning interviews with Greenpeace activists.
Such a disappointment.
Ron Howard: Leftard.
Clint Howard: Good Guy.
Yep. Now that the silver ponytails are in charge of the traditionally strong-liberal institutions, this is the garbage that you always get. It used to be that you could get a quality documentary out of NatGeo even if the politics of everybody there was total garbage. Nope, everything that comes out of the place is a Stalinist propaganda film now.
They all get assimilated. Poor little Opes. He sure was a cutie back in the day.
National Geographic morphed into National Sociographic decades ago. Dropped them after many years, becoming sick of the relentless “social” focus rather than on nature.
John Wesley Powell and Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor are spinning in their graves at NG becoming a globalist social rag.
I sensed that in the previews since the scientists seemed to be annoyed that a corporation is drilling on Mars.
These are the kinds of concerns decadent people have. That is, the crippling fear that someone somewhere is going to drill a hole on Mars, and that this is such an obvious moral wrong that the viewer is expected to be outraged by it right away.
People like Howard compromise everything for money and peer acceptance and approval. And the peers are all scum.
I assume everything produced by the Democratic Media Complex has a liberal bias so I'm never disappointed.
From what I've seen of Ron Howard he's your standard Hollywood liberal.
The SJWs have ruined this, too. Pathetic.
I watch for the special effects. Its pretty good muted.
I tried watching this series but they intermingle bull about the rich guy trying to send people into space. So I gave up and quit watching..
Curly Howard: better guy.
My niece knew a Young Actress that knew Ron Howard. Old Ronny had a casting Couch.
Season 2 is a complete disappointment after a great first season.
The Left will go berserk that corporations will increase the CO2 on Mars, causing global warming. Terraforming will be given a bad name.
Greenpeace on Mars? Does Redpeace know??
Find the program being streamed and skip the propaganda, but that doesn’t help much as the story breaks down into an emotional sob story found on any soap opera show. The whole science thing is serves as a backdrop which, accidentally, occurs under difficult conditions on another planet - but could just as easily occur under normal conditions in the town where you live ...

Differing in situ values have been reported for the average temperature on Mars, with a common value being −63 °C (210 K; −81 °F). Surface temperatures may reach a high of about 20 °C (293 K; 68 °F) at noon, at the equator, and a low of about −153 °C (120 K; −243 °F) at the poles. The first season was interesting. The very start of season 2 started out with Elon Musk. I just did not have the mental resilience that night to watch it. It remains on the DVR.
Id rather watch Ray Donovan, which made it through last year and has recovered to its former glory.
