I’ve tried to drill into my children the idea that posts/emails are FOREVER - and they shouldn’t say anything they wouldn’t say publicly. Not to muzzle them, but even just to keep unpopular views posted as tasteful as possible. No reason to use foul language, racial slurs, etc.; expend a little effort to get your point across without them.
I told all of my nephews to curse like crazy hit so hard nobody bothers you a second time :)
