I have lots of coffee pots. Several for rangetop, especially helpful in a power failure. Can make coffee on side burner on my propane Bar-B-Que grill. Have others for campfire use only.

My favorite coffee pot is a simple glass French Press coffee maker. Make the very best coffee.

To one & all reference "camp fire coffee," if you only have a coffee pot without the little basket to hold the coffee grounds, the "trick" that I've heard is when done brewing and your ready to pour, put a little cold (room temp) water, approx a tea-spoon, or maybe a table spoon in and your supposed to be able to pour the coffee, minus the grounds. The cold water is supposed to make the grounds just sink to the bottom of the pot.

I haven't tried it, but it does sound like its worth giving it a try. No harm, no foul.
