Channing Dungey, ABC Entertainment president, has resigned her post over the Roseanne debacle.
Dungey became the first black American president of a major broadcast TV network when took she over the top post in 2016.......
She stupidly announced the cancellation of rerun mega-hit Roseanne after Barr posted a tweet about Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.

DUNGEY: “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show” she said at the time.

The real problem goes far beyond Channing all the way up to Iger and apparently the majority of Disney top execs who are zealots that have throughly politicized the company. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them ordered the hit and Channing is just the fall girl.

Wonder if this is the same guy who dropped “Last Man Standing” from ABC.

She was indeed the person who cancelled both Roseanne and Last Man Standing, as well as losing two of their top Creators/Producers. They were trying to build a "universe" around Shonda Rhimes' "Greys Anatomy" like NBC did with "Chicago Fire/Med/PD". They are last place in ratings and she has been a unmitigated disaster. There is no doubt she is being fired, but they are handling it carefully because she is a double protected class.

The commercials and first episode of Last Man Standing on Fox were hilarious with all the digs they got in on ABC. Somehow, though, I doubt ABC’s shareholders were amused.
