That sounds perfect for you! I’m sure that business will be a hit if you can get it started. It will probably spread just by Word of Mouth once you get the first dinner party!
Couldn’t you do it from the van, since you would do everything from the person’s house? I suppose you would have to have a place to keep the food in the meantime between ordering it and bringing it to their house though. Not that I want you to live in the van, I just thought it might be a way of getting your feet on the ground a little quicker.
I love dreaming and planning. Without that there’s not much hope. I hope to have an online spice business someday. I’ve already developed the recipes and had a great time doing it. It’s prepper spices, stored in mylar for long-term storage. But it’s a blend so someone just needs to pick up there beans or rice and add the spice mixes. I have a chili bean, Cajun, jambalaya, red beans and rice, a taco mix, and a rub. All made with dried ingredients that will last and whole spices that will definitely last. Now, I just need to be able to lift more than 2 lb at a time and be able to use my arms repetitively for more than 15 minutes without pain! I haven’t seen anything out there on the web like this yet. Of course here I am laughing about it, but mainly because I don’t think I’ll ever be physically able to do the job. But like you, I was thinking I could hire someone to do much of it, but I’m not sure the profit would be there to make it viable.
Now yours should be quite profitable!
Posting and laughing don’t sound at all alike!
That sounds like a great business! I grow oregano, parsley, and a few other things, dehydrate them and put in jars for later use. I don’t seal them though.
