Of course he plays for Boston.
Boston is a place where if you are from there, the rules don’t matter. If you are not, then the smallest infraction can suddenly be used against your interests.
Can’t stand the place.

I read a fascinating account of that incident in a great book about fighting in hockey: The Code: The Unwritten Rules of Fighting and Retaliation in the NHL. If you just watch the video clip you don't understand all of the things that led up to McSorley's assault. By all accounts, Brashear was asking for trouble during that game by breaking several of those unwritten rules of "The Code." The last one was when he refused to fight McSorley at that point in the game (that's why Brashear is skating away from him, which pissed off McSorley in a big way).
