ep. Tom MacArthur (R-N.J.) lost his seat to Democratic challenger Andy Kim on Wednesday, resulting in a near-wipeout for the GOP in the state, The Associated Press reported.
With MacArthur's loss, Democrats successfully flipped four Republican seats in New Jersey in the midterm elections this year, some of which had been held by the GOP for decades.
Come January, there will only be one Republican congressman from New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith, who easily won reelection in a Republican-friendly district. MacArthur's race was considered a toss-up, though President Trump won the district by 6 points in 2016.

"...What can be made of this unbroken series of decisions and acts contributing to the strategy of defeat? They cannot be attributed to incompetence. If Marshall were merely stupid, the laws of probability would dictate that part of his decisions would serve this country's interest..."
Whether McCarthy was right or wrong to attack Marshall is not the point, but rather, his salient observation about probabilities.
Does anyone...ANYONE...anywhere think that if elections were challenged 30 times in widely disparate geographical areas, that one party would always...ALWAYS show a lopsided increase in the amount of post-election votes coming in?
If we did a tally of voter fraud, which side of the political ledger would have nearly ALL instances of fraud or malfeasance, and which one would have nearly none?
And would there be any correlation between those two observations? The answer would be yes...the Democrats would show a massive increase in post election vote counts on their side versus Republicans, and the Democrats have ALWAYS been the party that has engaged in criminal activity in the electoral process, not Republicans.
Yet, the Republican party sits there dumbly, barely making a protest as the election is further stolen and corrupted.
Unbelievable.
Yes. See my post at #21.
No, but then they move to NC and continue their liberal voting ways. They believe their own psychotic group think, “Even though we control all branches of NJ power it’s still Republicans fault. Let’s move to somewhere great (actually run by Republicans) and keep voting the way we do and make it even better (except they dont, they make it like where they just left!). Honestly there needs to be two countries. Liberals can apply to work in Conservative States of America but they cant live here and if they marry a conservative citizen then the conservative citizen loses their citizenship.
The Minnesota 1st Congressional District and the North Carolina 9th CD were undecided on election day but have since been called for Republicans. And I expect Georgia and Florida will ultimately stay Republican.
I always liked “Rock Me Gently”: sort of a Neil Diamond style song. /sarcoff
Sorry. Feeling jaded about the non-GOP COP [Controlled Opposition Party].
The COP [Controlled Opposition Party] RINOs do not desire to stop the fraud.
So is it an accident that in this year of unprecedented election theft, the head of the RNC is — a Romney?
Deep state dive.
Enjoy them taxes!
Not all. We won UT, we won two others in the last week.
Mia or Willard ? Surely you’re not counting Willard as a “win.” They’re already stealing Young Kim’s victory in California as I type (because the Communists absolutely need 45 out of 53 seats). It still doesn’t change what I said. I do not trust any contest results where demonrats are “counting” the votes.
NO, there were two other House races.
BTW, you do realize that Scott GAINED votes in Broward during the “recount?”
Which House races ?
Me too.
Republicans lost races they should've won and barely squeaked by in races that should've been blowouts. The Democrats, on the other hand, learned a lot of lessons from 2016, applied them here, and upped their game.
Obama could afford to lose 3.5 million votes in between 2008 and 2012 and still get re-elected. Trump can't afford to lose a single vote.
Honestly, if I had to put money on it, I'd bet the only chance President Trump has at reelection is if the Democrats run someone who is just absolutely loathsome. Unfortunately, I don't think the Dems are going to be stupid enough this time around to let Hillary Clinton anywhere near a campaign rally.
Republicans need to get to work.
I dunno. Just saw the stat from Alex Behzade on Twitter.
Montana has had MORE VOTES than in the 2016 election, that’s kinda fishy. Big vote on the reservations.
You on another thread re Cali “It aint the votes, its whos counting the votes. Theyd declare all 53 seats won by Democrats if it didnt look dodgy (Not that 45 or so doesnt, of course).”
It is the votes, the “provisional” (illegals!) and mail in votes are the easiest to fudge and they are last to be counted. They couldn’t beat Walters or Denham on election day and Ami Bera was in a 5 point race, closer to 10 now.
If voter fraud was super easy we would never win.
The media is putting out farticles like “California Republicans claim voter fraud with no evidence” (NOTE a-holes, the late democrat votes ARE the evidence) meanwhile the rank hypocrites are tying to steal GA and FL.
They are very brazen now putting out headlines like “Trump falsely says that.....” that one was NPR I think. We needed to kill funding for that crap (government funding is only small part of their budget but it should zero).
