His peeve is bloggers posting clickbait links back to their own blogs. You may not like it but I wouldn’t call that trolling. Again, instead of answering his question, you escalated. Perhaps you have a history with HG. I am just saying from a third party perspective, you kind of look more like the dick than HG on this thread.
I’ve noticed it as he does it all the time. Just look at his comment history. It’s just bullying and toxic. Never anything to do with the conversation.

I'd say you escalated.
I get that it probably looks like I snapped from nowhere, but it’s just relentless. If being on here triggers his pet peeves, then he should probably think about giving it up as it’s all he does. That sort of negativity can’t be good for his health and it certainly doesn’t add anything constructive here.

I’m not here to fight anyone else’s fight. But I do agree that except where copyright infringement comes into play, I have no desire to follow web links to other blogs and click bait. Most of news today is a waste of time anyway. I appreciate posted articles that put the bottom line up front. If HG wants to be the policeman for that, I guess I really don’t mind.

Copyright always comes into play. HG isn’t policing anything. He’s just trolling people on here for fun. It’s the type of bullying that usually comes from someone who would never dare say the same to a person’s face.

HG constantly spams the comments of my posts and others I read. If you read only this thread, I’m sure it’d look like he was unfairly ganged up on or whatever, but he does this all the time. I usually ignore him but just snapped this time which I shouldn’t have done, and I apologize if my original reply appeared overly aggressive out of context. Also notice now how he isn’t chiming in at all? He’s most likely sat in his mom’s basement now rubbing his hands with glee while we all debate what he instigated.
