Google tells me that 5G uses two frequency bands — one around 3.5 GHz and one around 26 GHz.

The Active Denial (”heat ray”) system uses frequencies around 95 GHz. This is sub-infrared, since the infrared range is from 300 GHz to 400 THz.

Hence, the heat ray uses a frequency somewhere between 5G and infrared.

For those in Rio Linda, Hz = cycles/second, G = billion, and T = trillion.
