Has there ever been an upcoming generation that was praised?

There have always been people who grew up being verbally abused and they generally show the same symptoms. But that was the exception to the rule. Now we have an entire generation who grew up being criticized and put down by everyone on to their face. To their virtual face anyway.

If you can not do anything right, why try to do anything at all?

Are there kids that are the exception? Of course.

But are there enough of them to pull their emotionally wounded peers along? Or will they be the focus of the anger that this kind of treatment causes?

Has there ever been an upcoming generation that was:

unable to interact and or communicate with other humans on a face to face level

Actually no. They have always been "know-it-all" whippersnappers who are spoiled rotten and have no idea how hard their parents had it. They don't appreciate a damn thing!
