Democrats have learned well from Stalin who said “it is not who votes, it is who counts the votes, decides elections”.

In the meanwhile republicans in power with all 3 branches of government and majority of governorships, did very very little to make elections secure.

If central government of India can print 780 Million voter ID’s with photo without which no one can vote, but in USA few need ID to vote? It amazes me that after becoming a naturalized US citizen in 1970, I have voted in 3 different states in every presidential election, yet no one ever asked me to show proof of citizenship! Unreal!!

So what stops illegal immigrants from voting? All it takes is saying you are a citizen and they register you to vote!!

Can you imagine having to produce proof of citizenship in every election?

I only renew my passport when I need to travel overseas, and prior to that I didn’t even have one. I have plenty of family and friends who don’t own a passport.

An ID is all that should be required - the confirmation of citizenship should be done elsewhere, ahead of time and during the registration, not while people are in line to vote.

Not practical.
