No...Abraham and Sarah were descendants of Adam and Eve. The point being made was that Abraham and Sarah got their genetics from Adam and Eve, so as such, we should all be genetically related in some fashion to the Jews. Now I think the poster is a bit confused in that God chose a certain lineage of people brought forth from Abraham and Sarah’s genetics through which he would send our Messiah which was to be distinct from all other lineages of the gentiles. In that sense gentiles would not be related to the Hebrews and then the Jews left over from the 10 lost tribes until such time the Holy Spirit would make of gentile Christians “sons of Abraham by the spirit of adoption”.
They are God’s chosen people.
Genetically, Jews are descendants of Abraham and Sarah, as well as Isaac and Jacob. But what is referred to as the seed of Abraham also has a spiritual aspect. Jesus talked about the vine having some branches that are cut off and others grafted on, with God as the gardener deciding which bears or does not bear the proper fruit. Metaphorically then, the seed of Abraham represents God’s chosen people, but genetically. The vine, spiritually. Does this sound plausible?
