Why do white women keep voting "against their own interests" and in favor of Republican candidates?
That's what Vogue asked in a piece responding to the midterm election results, calling it a "bleak election night ritual" to find out how many white women supported the GOP candidates across the country.

What does this “woke” thing mean? The last stages of hypnosis, after the snap of the fingers? When all the instructions that have been directed at the mesmerized mind become operational?
“When you wake up, you will bark like a dog whenever you hear ‘white privilege’ or ‘sexist’. Other trigger words may be added later.”
“Smart” has multiple meanings.
I can think of several dim wymmyns who think the same.
Pretty sure I may have witnessed white suburban women at my polling place doing what they could do to vote blue! (It didn’t work!)
I voted for President Trump because I love my country.
Cause they ain't stupid.
Broken families will be poor families that don’t rise to compete, and they won’t have as many good jobs in a country that imports most manufactured products. A large manufacturing base is required for sustainable revenues, balanced government budgets and avoiding debt collapse.
Feminism leads to slavery, collapse of an economy and collapse of a nation.
But not one word about the black female voters who continue to vote for the political party that voted against slavery? The party that created the KKK? The party that voted 100% against the Civil Rights Act?
Please correct to the party that voted against stopping slavery.
These same people would flip out if some magazine had an article arguing that white people, of either sex, voting Democrat (increasingly the party of “People of Color”), were “voting against their own interests”.
Is Vogue actually requesting that we weigh in on the subject, or is it rhetorical?
I have no problem cluing them in.
Maybe white women care more about a great economy, plentiful jobs, and rising wages than they care about getting abortions or free birth control?
They want to separate white women from the interests of their sons, spouses, and fathers as well. This is total war, make no mistake.
Dear Vogue,
They don’t ‘keep voting for GOP’
My interests are in defending the US Constitution which guarantees my God given rights, promoting individual liberty and smaller government. Of the two parties, the GOP is the only choice.
How dare these sanctimonious twits tell me what my interests are. One example of why I dont vote Democrat.
So, has Vogue switched over to being exclusively about women of color (WOC) because this lecturing probably is going to tank their sales among white women.
Oh! I’m sorry. This magazine is written in New York City that echo chamber of liberalism.
So, of course, everybody and especially every white woman must agree with them that no intelligent, sensitive person would ever think voting for their own interests mattered as much as political correctness and social justice. (There is a toxic brew if ever there was one.)
Vogue must be doing really well in its subscription and news stand sales.
The past 3 years have been a big awakening for my close to 80 year old wife re how evil most democrat women are.
All of her SIL’s and nieces on both sides of our family have been about as conservative as you can be. They have warned her about the evil in the current rat women voters.
She is one of those people, who tries to find/see the good in everyone.
Starting in 2016, she could not believe the bitterness and basically evil the Democrat women are, some of whom, she has known over decades.
As a result, she like her SIL’s, nieces and conservative female friends do not associate with nor communicate with the rabid and insane liberals.
I went through this process about two decades ago. Now, she understands, why I and our adult children have nothing to do with today’s liberals.
“My interestes don’t include murdering unborn babies; denigrating men; feeling entitled for things I haven’t earned; voting a certain way because radical feminists tell me to.”
Dittoes. Preach it, sister.
Hmmm... my interests are firearms, limited government, the free market, long walks on the beach and men who cry only when appropriate (the ending of Brian’s Song, birth of a child, when their team wins the superbowl/world series, etc.) Oh, and I really like old horror movies, dogs, surfing, and limited government... or did I say that already.
Limited government ... can’t stress that enough.
Oh, and abortion is murder.
Those are my best interests.
A bunch of fashionista tw@ts don’t speak for me.
