I hate to be quoting Michael Medved, but he said a couple of weeks ago that Beto’s (and the DNC’s) goal was to lose in Texas but use the race as a springboard to the 2020 presidential election.

I then realized I was hearing all these stories about how Democrats in other states were talking about him and wearing Beto t-shirts, etc. It then hit me that Medved may be right.

Now that he is not Senator, he can put his full effort behind a presidential run./

Beto will never be at the top of a POTUS ticket for the 'rats. They have to select a black candidate. Trump has made some inroads with black voters. They will not be motivated to vote for a cracka like Beto or another white woman hag like Hillary. Blacks are really motivated when they have a black candidate to vote for. The 'rats would be able to get most of their base to vote for Beto, but not the 110% of blacks they got with Obama.
