Fox news offered the WORST election coverage EVER! With sheer delight they announced WHILE PEOPLE WERE STILL VOTING in the west that the house was going to be won by the Democrats.
To me it seemed like a calculated effort to suppress the vote to make sure that there would be divided government.
I'm sure they calculated that ratings would increase with the shenanagans that the democrats will pull in the next two years. Well, they will not increase ratings in my house. I will never watch them again. They make me sick. Also with the smiling idiot that kept saying how "pleased" he was with this outcome. I'm done. Deleted them from my channels.
FNC is NOTHING! They are done, just like CNN. They just don’t realize it yet.

While you’re at it, you might as well just can the TV news altogether. Much more control and access (including to whatever is important from TV) here online.

It’s been a series of offenses really. The network lurched leftward back when Obama was running, and they have been drifting farther that way ever since.
Heck, it was probably before that - I can remember when that weasel Shep stood on that bridge near New Orleans post-Katrina whining on and on about how WE (meaning you and me) weren’t doing enough to help the people there. Never once mentioned that their OWN mayor and governor did little to nothing pre-Katrina, despite ample warning.
No, I’m about to cut the cable myself, and I’m looking at alternatives to deal with getting basic news through the television without having to put up with a bunch of raving libtards at the same time.
Last night’s calling the house before the voting was done was, perhaps, the last straw.
So, I visited OANN’s website a few times. Follow them on Twitter. But I don’t see much in the way of options to obtain their signal. Ideally, I’d like to see it offered as part of another streaming package so that I don’t have to have 2 or 3 different packages to get the content I want. It would be ideal if someone like Sling were to offer it as part of their basic package.
I watched about 30 seconds of FNC and switched to Fox Business. FNC wants to be in the club with the other fake news scum so bad it is sickening.
Except for Fox and Friends when my wife and I are getting ready for work, FNC is rarely on at my house anymore.
If I know a special guest is on Ingram or Hannity I might tune in otherwise I rarely watch FNC.
I prefer Fox Business, Maria Bartaromo is much easier on the eyes and great interviewer.
Last night my Mom who is so non-political it is scary was watching FNC, her and Dad like Hannity, Carlson and Ingram. She texted me about 9:45 and asked why is Fox declaring the Democrats won the House, isn’t there still lots of voting and counting going on? Yes I replied, Fox wants to suppress Republican turn out in the western states. Then she was really upset and texted can you believe the way Mike Wallace is acting, he’s being rude and snotty to Laura Ingram I don’t think I want to watch them anymore. She turned to Fox Business.

At 7:00pm they were still trying to pretend that Beto was winning.

First I tried Fox Business but there was Cavuto so I switched to FNC and there was Brett Baier. I finally landed on OANN stayed there. It was much better. Love Graham Ledger

They were right. I don’t see the problem. I never watch their coverage of elections. But they could tell the Ds won the house and that was so. It didn’t depress the vote.
Well, it may not have depressed the vote, but it d@mn sure may have suppressed the vote 😐
I turn to John King for every election.
you know, I came very close to doing just that; posting an overwrought vanity thread announcing my holy crusade against overwrought vanity threads.
that’s when I realized that it was probably time to turn the computer off for a while.
