i agree! it’s ridiculous.
It really is out of hand. I fly frequently and I would say 1 out of every 3 gates I pass in a terminal has a dog or two as a “service” dog for stress.
Service dogs gotta poop.
I wonder where the service gerbil relieves itself?
Pretty soon, airlines will consider it a selling point on their commercials to say “We operate a Pet-Free Airline for those who prefer it that way!”
You must not fly much now. There is a fake service dog craze where the justification is mental comfort to overcome anxiety. Flights are routinely carrying people with their pets now, right there in the rows.
Yea, those of us who are allergic to cats and horses, what do we get? Shafted, that’s what.
If I ever get sat next to some guy and his dog, cat or horse, it ain’t happening.

I was on a flight from DFW to ATL, Delta when they hubbed out of DFW. Short time after takeoff a hefty, past her prime blonde across the aisle, opened a bottle and started cleaning her fingernails with polish remover. Are you kidding me? This is not the place for that, I told her. She just glared at me and continued. The stewardess just said there was nothing she could do about it. The Delta office assured me during a later phone call that polish remover was not allowed to be opened on board the aircraft. People are sometimes very stupid.
Yuck, but calling dog poop a “biohazard” is drama queen behavior.

Polish remover is a toxic chemical. Sensitive types could have a reaction. I was just sharing The Who what when. She was a rude over the hill hag who thought she could do what she wanted, when she wanted. And based on Deltas response at the time, I guess she could.
