ATTENTION all Freepers: OK, this happens every election year. Someone posts a “here’s how my precinct is turning out” post. Thank you. But it does us election junkies no good if the replies/responses do not give specific information. For example: “We had a big line in eastern Ohio today.” Does NOTHING. “There was a large line in my precinct in Small City, Ohio. This is a very red precinct that voted 80/20 for Trump. Usually, there is no line. This morning, there were 85 people in line who were older, white, and did not smell of weed.” Gives us junkies useful information. So please, post away. But give us specific information—good OR bad!!! Thanks.

Voted in Grand Rapids Michigan (central part of the city)
My gentrified area is ultra left-wing. More multi-colored flags for your sexuality than American flags. Mostly hipsters, pink hat people, college kids and old hippies. 95% white. We are attached to a massive district that belongs to Justin Amash, Vern Elhers before that, and former President Ford before that. So there is no race there.
I was number 325 voting. Not at all many as I expected.
It is cold, windy, rainy. Raining right now in fact.
Sorry, I don’t know how my precinct usually votes, although I p[resume red as it;’s Upstate.
Good news is it looks like Kakto will be our rep. His signs are EVERYWHERE, even in Syracuse and Solvay.
For governor and US senate, depends on how disgusted the moderates and NYCers are with Cuomo and Gillibrand.
Basically our vote in anything beyond local reps is a throw away vote.
I have been praying constantly that Cuomo, Gillibrand, and Al Stirpe be axed.
