Just voted, 10:30 east cost time, upstate New York.
The voting place was almost crowded, at least 20 people were voting when I walked in. There was a line at the machine.
I've never seen so many people there. I usually vote in the mid-morning..
Same thing here in Northern Michigan.
Voted mid-morning in NE Floriduh. Busy but not crowded. Poll workers said it was packed in the early hours.
What struck me was how many voters as well as poll workers were ‘showing their colors’. Red or Blue themes were quite apparent.
Cobb County. Northwest Atlanta.
I voted about 8:30 and it was as busy as I’ve seen it.
When mr. mm went earlier, he said every booth was full.
I just went past the pooling place and there are still a number of cars in the lot.
So it looks like people are getting out.
In general high turnout is not a good thing for us.
It typically means that the Libtards have found a way to get their voters off of the couch.
If this is heavy REPUBLICAN turnout then Trump may be achieving something historic here. Looking at polls and projections I think they are detecting the heavy turnout and assuming that most of it’s Democrat.
Sorry, I don’t know how my precinct usually votes, although I p[resume red as it;’s Upstate.
Good news is it looks like Kakto will be our rep. His signs are EVERYWHERE, even in Syracuse and Solvay.
For governor and US senate, depends on how disgusted the moderates and NYCers are with Cuomo and Gillibrand.
Basically our vote in anything beyond local reps is a throw away vote.
I have been praying constantly that Cuomo, Gillibrand, and Al Stirpe be axed.
I had to wait 30 minutes at 6:30 in my precinct in Lexington. Larger crowd than I saw in 2016 around the same time. They said people were in line before the polls opened there.
Very busy in Madison County AL. My precinct is a demographic mix with lots of students, and the crowd reflected that.
One thing noteworthy is they’ve really streamlined the process. The seasoned citizen poll workers had iPads this time. They’d scan your ID and print out a little slip that you’d take to the next table to get your ballot. Much quicker than the old way which had them manually flipping through binders to look you up. I have a feeling the lines would have been out the door if they were still doing it that way. But this new way was really efficient. Whoever is in charge of elections here (I should probably know who that is now that I think about it) is doing a good job.
And I will add that as always it was a charming scene at my polling place. It’s in the gymnasium of a medium sized church with basketball hoops overhead and churchy posters on the walls. Wall to wall with people but everything really peaceful and friendly.
Just voted also. Straight Republican. I had to wait in a line for a voting machine. That has never happened before.
The fact many people are voting is a sign that government is too large and has too much power.
I remember reading that in Britain before WWI that a rural persons only interaction with government employees in their lifetime was likely the mailman.
There was a long line for only one E.D.: mine.
Not only am I the schlamozzle but my E.D. is the schlamozzle of election districts.
Cuomo Jr looks headed for an underwhelming win, low 50’s to high 30’s/around 40 for Molinaro. Like with his daddy in 1990 that will put a dent into any ideas he has about 2020.
My polling station was CRANKIN ! I’ve never seen so many people.
My area is a heavy republican, older population small town in NEPA. I saw more people that I know, and could easily identify as republican.
One person smelled of patchouli. Some NY transplant - you can smell them from a mile away.
One Subaru in the parking lot. Another sign of voting tendency (I know, I know.. I’ve owned tons of Subarus too)

Turn out is insane here... we are closing in on 2016 turnout in my polling place... and there isn’t a single truly contested race on the ballot!
Other polling places around here are reporting up more than 50% from last midterms....
Tonight is going to be interesting...

Seemed to have a good turnout here but first time I have voted here since 1975 so can’t say if it is more or less.
Just got home about 30 minutes ago from voting. I live in a small town right outside Omaha. Huge crowd. Not too worried about the races in my state. Governor, Congressman and Senator all have comfortable leads in the polls. I was motivated to vote against Medicaid expansion which is on the ballot. The crowd was bigger than 2016 if that tells you anything.
My wife and I were first in line, at 06:22 with lawn chairs. By the time polls opened up at 7, I got the first sticker after a quick straight R and yes on all amendments. My wife was #2.
I walked out with the sticker on my forehead shouting maga and roll tide. Got cheers ata maga and a few jeers at roll tide due to auburn fans, but the line was over 100 long. Police easily guided us out. It was great.
My wife is worried cause she listens to Fox, and they are negative naybobs of negativisim, while I am outside having wine and a nice pipe with borkum riff reading FR.
Not worried.
