>.narcissistic useless entitled lazy wankers! Tribbles
Anyone who owns a pet can tell you that something that purrs when you pet it is definitely NOT useless.

Excellent article. Thanks.
That was why House of Cards was so interesting in terms of coercive persuasion. You had the feeling that everything the characters on the show were doing, while in a fictional setting, had been done at some time, by somebody, to somebody. Probably showed how its done better than some liked.
QUNITED we STAND!!!
Yet banished from the Enterprise they were only good for pestering the Klingons who undoubtedly sent them into deep space where they really were 'no Tribble at all'. Your argument mirrors Uhura's which was rightfully rejected by the great Capt Kirk.
One must necessarily connect the dots involved.
Modern vehicles are “commanded” by a primary motherboard; a computer. All things electrically connected (steering, throttle, brakes, etc.) are run by this computer. So, too, is the modern cell-phone connection via Bluetooth. This is a feature _on the motherboard_ that allows you to make and receive phone calls and text while driving.
(Either or both) Bluetooth connections are “visible” to all devices within a specific radio-frequency radius (usually, about 35 feet from the receiver/source).
Your Bluetooth connection to your vehicle provides an open port to the vehicle master computer from whence all aspects of the vehicle can be controlled if another device is used to “hack” your vehicle; like, the Clown Car behind you as you wait at a stop.
Technology available will allow an outside device to control your vehicle without your permission.

Captain Kirk was not always right. In the case of Tribbles, I believe he was absolutely wrong. He needed to assign Spock and McCoy to developing an excellent birth control remedy to keep the pet population under control. And given them free to all redshirts to keep their blood pressure down.

Interesting coincidence. I watch mairdie, too!
New Q for Nov 5th, didnt know if already posted...
Well, no, now that I think about it, it isn’t wifi either it’s the mobile phone signal that they use for traffic. So turning wifi off wouldn’t help. Airplane mode should probably do it but they probably have a way around that. Turning off the power is the only way I could say that you’d be safe, safer still if you took the battery out. Safest bet is to throw it out the window. :-|
-----------------
From the original series I would say either the Landru episode or the one with the spoors that made you not care about anything.
because theTribbles were so cute, all the attention would be on the Tribbles, and not on 0bomit.
What if I told you that the Parkland shooting was commanded by our own government actors to influence Trump?
What if the public found out that our own CIA caused the horrific vehicle killings at local bus stops last week?
Would the general public believe it? No.
What would happen if the general population were ultimately convinced? Chaos? Civil War?
Deep thoughts are needed to battle the Deep State.
Yeah, that kind of blasphemy will go nowhere. The only time Kirk could have been construed as incorrect was the incident with the Gorn. His introspective capabilities were lauded by the Metrons, but his first instinct to destroy the Gorn was correct despite the Metronian interference. The Tribble decision was a cakewalk.
I agree with you blu, but the Tribble wouldn’t have like 0 any more than another sentient being. Guy is a douche looking for coke and his next glory hole adventure.
>>The only time Kirk could have been construed as incorrect
Spock. That’s my kind of hero.
What did I do that was useful? I just posted a few links to articles here and there...
Spock. Thats my kind of hero.
Landslide. Yes, landslidestunning, startling, astounding, beyond the wildest dreams and nightmares of the contending camps, beyond the furthest ken of the armies of pollsters, pundits and political professionals, proclaimed TIMEs post-election cover story. After all the thousands of miles, the millions of words and dollars, the campaign that in newspapers across the land on the very morning of Election Day was still headlined TOO CLOSE TO CALL turned out to be a landslide.
No Republican in memory, until Trump, was so loved by his base as Ronald Reagan. No Republican in memory, until Trump, was SO vilified by his detractors as Ronald Reagan.
Although the pollsters have conceded the Senate to the Republicans, they are still 88% confident (though not 188% confident) that the Democrats will take the house. A pox on the pollsters! May this election be as big a surprise to them as 1980 and 2016 put together.
