We have all probably allowed ourselves to become distracted behind the wheel at some point in time. I for one have been fortunate that my distractions were brief and did not result in any accidents. It makes me nervous when I even watch movies were the driver takes his eyes off the road to look at their passenger and does so for way too long, because I think the scene is calling for them to have an accident. Because in real life, that is what would have transpired. 8>)
I can relate. I dislike being a passenger with someone else driving and I try avoid it like the plague.
I also hate having passengers, especially ones that are like me. LOL
I've watched still and video and looks to me like she certainly assaulted him and more than once......and the way the bus went to the curb and then over looks like as you say.
My Amish neighbor doesn’t like it either.I asked him if he ever got sleepy when driving his buggy. He said yes but he had an effective countermeasure. He hands the reins to his wife.
He did deliberately turn the wheel a full turn and then proceeded to go straight..... off the bridge.
He DROVE it off the bridge.
That's the funniest thing I've read in the past 2 hours. What a hoot!☺ Ya think he committed suicide because he'd had it with getting slapped?
Too bad for all the passengers on board. What a shame. And that appeared to be long drop off that bridge. I'd guess maybe 70' above the water. If that's the case, it's likely or possibly many died on impact and didn't suffer much.

Check this video for more details of the scene/recovery. Most were likely killed on impact. That bridge is way up, at least 70’ or so from the water..Seen at 1:09 or thereabouts. It has the collision from different angles as well, slow motion etc..
Third time this week it has happened. An epidemic of irate passengers causing bus crashes.
Chinese Water Drill.
You know you’ve really had it “up to here” with your job when......
I keep telling my kids that not only is being polite the right thing to do, you never know when someone is just going to have enough of this crappy world and snap.
