No computer hooked to your TV. But your "streaming device" will hook to the TV and to your Internet. All the streaming devices come with a dedicated remote control. Here is a Roku Express Streaming Player with the Roku remote:

We buy our Internet service from them with the TV Choice product. You get a basic cable line-up and you get to choose 10 additional a la carte channels. The Internet and TV Choice run us about $70 per month which is a good deal.

I've had Spectrum TV Choice too for the past year and a half and have been happy with it until I just tried to swap one channel for another and was told no, you can only change channels within 30 days of signing up.
That's no 'Choice' for me so I just dropped spectrum TV choice and went with fubo tv, a bit more $$ a month but it has the channels I want year around.
It seems every few months many more internet tv choices become available and at a fair price.
Cable tv will become extinct soon.
