Adam Schiff will head the intelligence committee and will stop Devin Nunes work and has promised to investigate Trump. Maxine will head Financial Committee and has promised to bring down Wall Street.
Essentially, the government is going to shutdown...probably literally, due to the inability to pass a budget or spending bills. The Democrats have an institutional beachhead. This will be an extremely chaotic, brutal two years. And the presidential election starts tomorrow. We aren’t going to see dramatic gains in MAGA until after that.
On the good side, the Republican Party is a much better...if marginally weaker...party than the mess Trump took over.
