So every Dem Senator in a competitive race who voted against Kavanaugh lost (Donnelly, Heitkamp, McCaskill, and almost certainly Nelson), and the one who voted for Kavanaugh survived (Manchin). Coincidence?
House leadership, especially Rat Ryan, wanted us to lose the House. He acted like a spoiled 5 year old who would take his ball and go home if all the games didn’t go his way.

Adam Schiff will head the intelligence committee and will stop Devin Nunes work and has promised to investigate Trump. Maxine will head Financial Committee and has promised to bring down Wall Street.

I predict that losing the House will actually INCREASE the margin by which President @realDonaldTrump wins re-election in 2020. Running against the House “leadership” of Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters will be a gift that keeps on giving for the next two years.

Essentially, the government is going to shutdown...probably literally, due to the inability to pass a budget or spending bills. The Democrats have an institutional beachhead. This will be an extremely chaotic, brutal two years. And the presidential election starts tomorrow. We aren’t going to see dramatic gains in MAGA until after that.
On the good side, the Republican Party is a much better...if marginally weaker...party than the mess Trump took over.

I think Dr. Jeffers is correct.
