My last binge was Hawaii 5-0.
Have this channel. Gratzi
No more Filmstruck.
Bkmrk.
Thanks. Love my Roku Tv
Nope, no more. The UI of filmstruck just plain sucked, and was ugly too boot. I got a lot of crashes.
I’ve not cut the cable, so TCM is still an excellent place for watching movies when away from home. I know most of the movies so I just listen half the time.
We had a lot of trouble with filmstruck. But they had amazing films from around the world. Oh, well.
I bought a couple of 49ers for upstairs TV’s. The TCL variety. They are pretty great. I wouldn’t mind replacing my Jumbo Plasma downstairs with a 65” but I have some other things to drop a grand on right now though. But you get a lot for a Grand.
“Thanks. Love my Roku Tv”
Yeah, Roku is great.
I love YouTube. It’s amazing all the stuff there.
Better than cable and free. Just need the internet.
No need for anything else. Best 50 bucks ever spent.
The Roku YouTube channel has all the old movies you want and them some. Save yourself a ton of money and cut the cord.
With Roku, you take it with you on the road. Just need the internet.
What does ROKU have that is free, and are they worth the time to watch?
What do you wish to watch?
Lets start there. That’s a easier question.
Since I don’t watch TV I don’t know . . . that’s why I’m asking if there are free shows.
I see a link was posted, I’ll check that out.
What I’m asking is do you have to pay a subscription for each channel or is there free shows.
They also have a wonderful / fascinating documentary on actress / singer Rose Marie.
Wait for your Laugh.
The link is just telling me to buy a Roku. I don’t see any link to “Free Stuff!”
Yes, I am cheap!
PP,
First you buy a ROKU ranging in price from less than $100 and up. Then YOU become a ROKU USER.
The ROKU CHANNEL is an app for your purchased ROKU. No subscription charges for the channel, nothing to purchase the actual app.
You will need an adequate internet connection for streaming.
ROKU has a number of channels which are offered at no cost to you. Some app channels do require that you be hooked into cable in order to view. ROKU, OTA Antenna, and You Tube should be ALL you need to become a “Couch George” and sit watching the tube till your heart’s content.
Unable to walk away from any screen.
