I think this accusation was levelled at Obama’s state of the union address years back. While factually true, spineless politicians were outraged at such a charge.

The GOPs problem is that they’ve offered no healthcare vision to compete. I suggested that what they should be doing is trying to alleviate the doctor shortage but it seems to be falling on the deaf ears.

Walker could have stated it better. Rather than calling Obama a liar, Walker should have just asked, “Is this the guy who said you could keep your doctor? Is this the guy who said you could keep your insurance company?”
His statement meant next to nothing, even if it had been true. It only applied to people’s immediate condition. Once they left for any reason their present job, living situation, concerning insurance, from that point on they would no longer be able to choose much about their insurance. It was a very short sighted promise/lie that people without an eye for the future fell for.
