IF Republicans hold the House it will be a miracle, and by just a few seats.
I just went through every stinkin’ house seat and did a spread sheet. I came up with 225 (R) to 210 (D). I say we hold the house by 5 - 10 seats.

What does he have to lose? If he’s wrong, everyone will forget him. If he’s right, he’s the guy who, against the odds, predicted that the GOP will hold the House.
...and some predicted Mitt Romney would win in 2012. BTW, will we need 52 Senators just to blunt Mittens from becoming McCain 2.0?

I believe that republican turnout is much higher for a midterm election because there are not as many single issue or butt hurt conservatives this election cycle. Thanks to Trump for uniting the party and keeping campaign promises.
That’s my view too — I’ve been saying “around six.”
Taht will make things a bit more difficult for the new speaker, but at least it will preserve Republican control, and maybe they gain seats back in 2020 on Trump’s coattails.
The only one I trust is LS, and he’s saying about the same thing: Red Tsunami.
