I loved it when the guy shouted out “I love you, Ivanka” and Trump immediately turned around and said something like “Nobody ever...” but it was a funny interaction with the crowd.
Yeah. For being a billionaire and President, he seems to interact normally with people. How refreshing is that!
I know several extremely successful builders who build apartment complexes.
Even though they are wealthy, they are extremely normal.
I flew out to an industry seminar last week on the same flight as two of three of them. You never would have known you were sitting next to a multi-millionaire.
I see Trump as being in that mold. He could easily hang out at a workbench in a job trailer drinking coffee from a cup with a lid and eating Dunkin Doughnuts.
“Yeah. For being a billionaire and President, he seems to interact normally with people. How refreshing is that!”
That is how I saw it. He mixes with the average Joe just fine.
I enjoy these candid videos as they are not staged.
As background, I once led a security detail for a cabinet-level Federal appointee. Watching Mr. Trump take the lead coming off the elevator, and then coming back and entering the side room without the room being cleared first would drive most agents crazy.
Mr. Trump is clearly in charge and his agents detailed to serve him must accommodate his style.
Watch Mr. Trump enter the room first and size up the situation himself. He is such a quick read and it must be a large part of his excellent track record on decisions. He observes and listens well.
He clearly does not walk in fear, rather in confidence. He also receives affirmation and energy meeting with regular people. He is not aloof in his presence.
Clearly the phrase Blue-Collar Billionaire fits him well.
And the best part is that he is so comfortable in his own skin that he can freely banter with folks. He loves the exchanges.
I am sure that his protection detail loves him, but that he drives them crazy with his free running style.
I met a woman last weekend who grew up in one of Fred Trumps buildings in Queens. She said PDJT was the paper boy. Delivered the paper and collected the fees door to door.
He has always interacted with regular people.
