Absolutely can not stand Schnitt, Clyde Lewis, or that moron who does First Light. My staion dropped my shows and juggled these clowns in and I haven’t had a chance to listen to C2C since then.

I totally agree. If a caller says a full bodied apparition materialized in front of them a good host may ask “ what did it look like?”. Noory would be like “Huh, I bet that was scary. Next caller.” Then he’ll let an obvious crack pot ramble for 20 minutes before cutting them off. I still listen anyway because he still has some good guests on from time to time.
Isn’t that what they cover 95+% of all nights they’re on? Sometimes Big Foot and skin-walkers get tossed in there.
Art was such a good story teller, and would add the fun things like you mentioned to his caller’s stories.
RIP Art. I’ll try to find time to listen tonight. Maybe in the background coming over the airwaves like smooth velvet smoke I’ll hear “Wanna’ take a ride?”

I join with all the FReepers who miss Art broadcasting out of his outpost in Pahrump. We really never appreciated Art as much as we should have. He was one-of-a-kind.
A supernatural-themed movie based on Art would be fantastic, whether played as comedy or drama.
Phil Hendrie’s hilarious “Coast to Coast” take-offs were fall-on-the-floor funny. I know Art laughed along with them.
I feel that at some point he just stopped trying. He’s got that gig on Gaia and is featured on history all the time. He’s bored with radio.
Yes, I don’t think Noory’s a bad host. Maybe he’s just not as into it as he once was like you said. I will be listening tonight myself anyway because some of the caller’s stories can be pretty frightening on this Ghost to Ghost show.
Not really. Coast to Coast topics include UFOs, cryptozoology, and a wide range of other paranormal, adventure, and alternative news and history subjects.

But - they only play 3 seconds, or maybe only ONE note, of the “artists” song, and then overlay it with blabbing, etc and jump to commercial. It’s a total rip-off to these “artists”. If they were actually good, how the heck can you tell from one note? If it was my song and I heard just the first note I’d be disappointed as hell.

Art Bell was cool but Linda Morton Howe was a grade schooler trying to sound smart. Noorey is much better with the news. I enjoy Dr. Sky and miss the cool ghost stories from Art Bell shows.
Art Bell should be doing his show in the “White Noise” frequency on your radio and TV.

His voice is a little annoying, and very feminine, but after a while, one can learn to ignore that and listen to his interviews. He’s a good interviewer and takes his radio time.

He had a guy on a couple of weeks ago promoting his book “Outside the Green Box”. The book ($20 at Amazon) talks about how global warming is a farce, democracy and capitalism has promoted increases in food harvests and decreased poverty (in the 60’s 80% of the world lived at the poverty level, now it is something like 10 or 20%), and how the population of the world is leveling off.
I was pretty surprised.
Loved Phil’s impression of Art. The first time I heard it, I checked the dial because everything about it was perfect!
Beyond Reality is another one trying to take the overnight ghosts and goblins crown. Better than Noory, anyway.
For many years now I’ve been listening to Red-eye Radio overnight. It’s on for like four hours (though I think they repeat the first). It’s conservative talk so I’ll take it!
