I remember when business took me to San Jose/Santa Clara a couple times a year.
When the temps would get down to 60 degrees at night, the locals would be sporting their hooded down parkas.
I used to say “We’d be out in our shorts and tank tops hand washing our cars in this weather.”
lol.
They left out the northeast.
In one town I lived in, they did not even break out the plows until there was at least 6 inches on the ground. You just drove through it.
And yes, it took 2-3 feet for a snow day, depending on what time frame it fell in.
