Whichever triggers the most, of course!
What if cultural appropriation IS the costume?
“White people should be taxed and neither seen, heard, nor employed.”
Who gives a d@mn what the elites think. Dress up as you want while you can still taste freedom.
A Black person dressed as a White person in blackface?
How’s this? I’ll dress however I damn well please and if you don’t like it then that’s too bad. As for colleges trying to intimidate students to be culturally sensitive they must remember that they are nothing more than a business making money by selling diplomas and that their customers are adults and able to make their own decisions without being led around by the nose like grade schoolers.
I heard of one school where the kids cna’t dress up for Halloween because the snowflake muslims are whining about it.
All students can spend the day constructing portable clocks instead.
Why in the world can’t we get a campaign going to complain and be offended about all the idiots who pretend to be journalists/commentators ala Kirsten Powers, give me a break. Turley is one in a million who has common sense and knows what logic is. The others should be shamed into never leaving their houses, never showing their faces in public because they are “pretenders” and have appropriated and disposed of habits from decent people! We are never going to see the day when they wake up to their stupidity!
Ghosts, demons, and witches are now preparing their lawsuit - watch out!
When you look at it that way, it doesn’t make a lot of sense, does it? Which can only mean they do not have the stuff that will make them successful even IF they complete whatever foolish college courses they take if they can’t tell the college administrators to take a hike!
It is the essence of our culture to borrow from other cultures. Its what we do, its who we are. Deal with it.
:)
Yeah, what happened to the “melting pot”?
I can’t eat tacos, collard greens, pickled pig feet, goulash, etc.? or I be racist.
We were a multiethnic workforce, and there was no racial tension. Everybody loved the potlucks which fostered a wonderful feeling of camaraderie.
Mr. Inspectorette and I retired in 2005, I don't know if this tradition is still active. I hope it is.
I always thought it would be appropriate to have Election Day on Halloween, mainly because of the common factors:
Participants typically put on masks or depict themselves as someone different from who they really are;
They go around the neighborhood basically with their hands out asking for goodies from the public (candy/votes);
Child-like behavior, tantrums, etc. is usually expected.
Dress for Halloween however you want. If some fascist SJW objects, deck his ass. Here’s instructions:
