Last year not one Alabama football recruit could pass admissions standards at Stanford.

As I recall Alibaba football players live together in a dorm, are given special tutors, and generally graduate in Sociology. Your halfback is from Vallejo, California and couldn’t get into California even under its small percentage of entries under an athletic code. I admire Saban’s graduation rate, phony though it is.
Lots of General and Leisure Studies majors on those football factory teams. It would do an Evergreen College “student” proud.
I’ve heard many former players who even after their playing days are over, say that the lessons Saban taught them about attention to detail still ring in their ears today.

I support Stanford but unlike the common Alabama fanatic I don’t live and die by its wins or losses. I understand just how difficult it is to field a winning team at a school that prizes education over athletics.

The University of Alabama is a top 50 Public Institution. And, unlike Stanford, one receives an education, not leftist indoctrination. Unfortunately, you appear to be a backward, uneducated bigot so facts are irrelevant to you.

Lets close this out. Stanford was just declared one of the world’s, repeat world’s, five top academic universities. It also received the cup for the foremost sports achievements at
American universities in 2017. To mention Alabama and Stanford in the same breath is insulting.
I never stated that Stanford was a bad school but your bigotry and ignorance prevents you from acknowledging that the University of Alabama is a quality institution.
Over half of UA’s student body are from out of State and from many countries. And, as I stated in a previous post, UA students are educated, not indoctrinated. Unlike Stanford.
