One is not exclusive of the other. You can have a long-term plan that deals with clearing out a good portion of the Derp State while also having a shorter term plan that removes obvious bad actors in government. Some of that short-term exfoliation has taken place, apparently, what with removal or resignations of some DOJ and FBI types. But in the end, that hasn't really amounted to much, while also having obvious government criminals like Lois Lerner and the Awans seemingly getting a pass from Sessions and Co. Why in the world would you not go after the low-hanging fruit like Lerner and the Awans? Does not compute.

There has to be a legititmate reason, though, otherwise the Trump administration is hopelessy corrupt and Trump is an incompetent boob flailing about all alone against the tide.
