“Not only should Trump issue the order, it should be RETROACTIVE back several generations. It would revoke the invalid citizenship of millions of Democrats”
Be still my beating heart. We’d have big party then.

House Speaker Paul Ryan on Tuesday broke with President Donald Trump on whether an executive order could deny a constitutional guarantee of citizenship to babies born in the U.S. to noncitizen parents. The is no such constitutional guarantee. U.S. citizenship is only a birthright of those born in the United States and subject to its jurisdiction. Should the child be born to non-citizens, it is subject to the jurisdiction of another country, not the United States. Therefore, the child is not a U.S. citizen by birth.
President Trump is preparing to protect and defend the Constitution, which he is sworn to do, by enforcing that basic provision of the 14th amendment. Speaker Ryan needs to read the Constitution.

Ryan tip toeing through the tulips on the same day Thug Mueller sics the FBI on a woman accusing him of rape. The doormat GOP rides again. Just pathetic.

It is only kept in place by executive action now. There has never been a decision on it by the courts. Before wholesale abuse it was popular. Now no so much.

“Speaker Ryan needs to read the Constitution.”
Squeaker Ryan needs to FOAD. Better yet, he needs to be brought to justice for what he has done to the country.

I wonder if it is a clinical issue or a democrat-in-a-republican seat thing or he’s just completely bribed to immorality.
Hmmm

Actually, have any of the current nine members ruled and commented on the clause “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof”?

Who cares? The executive is tasked with enforcing the law not the courts. And PDJT doesn’t need the courts ‘interpretation’ of the Constitution to do his job.

There is a great scene in "Slap Shot" where Reggie Dunlop puts a "personal bounty on the head of Tim McCracken" during a live radio interview.
After the interview, Joe McGrath from the front office calls Dunlop, livid. He screams:
YOU CANT PUT A BOUNTY ON A MAN'S HEAD!!!
...to which Reggies replies....
...I just did...
...and then hangs up on Joe.
Joe=Ryan, Reggie=Trump.
