Speaker Ryan: ‘You cannot end birthright citizenship with an executive order’

House Speaker Paul Ryan on Tuesday broke with President Donald Trump on whether an executive order could deny a constitutional guarantee of citizenship to babies born in the U.S. to noncitizen parents.

But despite Ryan's stern rebuttal to the president, the idea of limiting birthright citizenship still has significant cache among congressional Republicans, even if they aren't quite sure how to undo a constitutional guarantee stemming from the 14th Amendment.

Trump told Axios in an interview released Tuesday that the White House counsel had advised him that there was legal standing to terminate birthright citizenship, and Vice President Mike Pence confirmed that the administration was looking into using executive action as well.

Hell, Yes! Well worth a try. Of course the libturds and RINO’s will head straight to the 9th Circus Court, and get an immediate stay.
But, then POTUS can force the issue to the SCOTUS.

Hasn’t it already been to the SCOTUS?

In the famous Slaughter-House cases of 1872, the Supreme Court stated that this qualifying phrase was intended to exclude “children of ministers, consuls, and citizens or subjects of foreign States born within the United States.” This was confirmed in 1884 in another case, Elk vs. Wilkins, when citizenship was denied to an American Indian because he “owed immediate allegiance to” his tribe and not the United States.

American Indians and their children did not become citizens until Congress passed the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924. There would have been no need to pass such legislation if the 14th Amendment extended citizenship to every person born in America, no matter what the circumstances of their birth, and no matter who their parents are.

Not only should Trump issue the order, it should be RETROACTIVE back several generations. It would revoke the invalid citizenship of millions of Democrats.

14th Amendment starts out pretty clearly...

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

But where we obviously totally agree with the president is getting at the root issue here, which is unchecked illegal immigration.”

What is Ryan or anyone going to do about it if Trump goes forward? Sure — Judges will issue decrees etc but how could they really stop Trump from doing what he wants? If Ryan stays Speaker is he going to impeach Trump for it? I doubt it. These people are all talk.

The order should look back at least three or four generations. If your grandparents on both sides were illegals, then so were your each of your parents. That makes YOU illegal as well. LET ME HELP YOU PACK!
