As I tossed a bunch more political mass mailed flyers into trash today i wondered maybe I should have marked them return to sender and have the pacs and liberal/leftist groups sending them pay return postage?
Some thing maybe useful for next elections because I'm being innudated with their large cardstock mailings in my state and I'd guess others of you are as well?
As a registered undeclared/Independent voter I used to get mailings looking for donations and I would seal and return the postage paid envelopes empty so they had to pay return postage.
I know it's small change but any simple ways I can thwart their abilities/waste their monies seems worth it.
That class of mail is not returnable
I’m lucky, I don’t watch TV unless at my mom’s, so I don’t have to see too many political ads. But I do get the heavy, slick mail stuff which is the subject of your post. I don’t even look at any of it. I put it in the municpal recyling dumpsters, but I’m not even sure if that sorta thing can be recycled. I wish I could opt out of all junk mail. It wastes my time to have to sort through it, and it’s a literally a waste.
Attach postage paid envelopes to a brick and mail it.
return to Loser
It’s third class mail. It won’t be returned. I feel your pain but I also got political mail for someone who has never lived here yet according to center for voter registration had last voted in 2014.
All of that mail will be put into a manila envelope and mailed to Bill Gardner, our stat’s attorney general.
