***I’ve been trying to hire a deep toned male actor for audio recordings and trying to figure out how to prepare the text for him so that he’ll pronounce the words correctly***

Yes, phonetic spelling is a challenge - and all those linguistic symbols like you see in dictionaries now are for the elites - who can remember all that if you don't use it regularly? As to the voice, 25 years ago I could have been a candidate, started out on radio in the 60's - having had voice training. Now I sound like a wet dishcloth. :^/

I’m looking for an older Santa Claus, someone who can make their recordings at home. I’m planning to make YouTube videos of the 13 love poems in my illustrated book. The gentleman who keeps forgetting to send his sample played Henry Livingston at the mock trial when I was sitting at the table as his descendant. He’s creating a one man show and loses the world for his focus. Good for him, bad for my plans.

My idea for pronunciation is to use the form of the word from my phoneme dictionary when a word is weird, like vaullancy (V-AO-L’-AE-N-S-IY) and fegs (F AE G Z). It uses no special symbols. The research required me to transcribe the entire body of poetry into phonemes.
